The winner of this classic event will represent South Carolina at the fabled Calaveras County Frog Jump in California. There is a parade, carnival, live music, a cow drop competition, and a fireworks finale. Join us for some great family fun the Saturday before Easter!

Other events offered during the annual Frog Jump weekend could include arts & crafts, cow drop, 5K run, and always, a lengthy and interesting parade before noon on Saturday. The evening usually winds down with one or two local bands and a small street dance. Be sure to check the schedule for each year’s event.

  • Dedication of the aircraft carrier flight deck exhibit which was researched & assembled by Don & Patty Williams of Jacksonville, Florida.
  • Honoring one of the Military Museum’s founders Col. Byron Williams’ graduation from War College, Pennsylvania

Attending this important event is one good way to show your patriotism! Honor all who have served and are serving now.

The pageant will be held on Sunday, April 6th at 4pm, at
Old Springfield High School Auditorium
210 Brodie Street
Springfield, SC

Registration begins at 2pm. The doors will not be open until then.
If doing photogenic, your photo must be turned in by 3:30pm.

Doors will open at 2pm the day of the pageant and the stage will be available for contestants to practice prior to the start of the pageant.
